Roomies

Jackie put it well: at the beginning of Saturday yesterday, there was me living in this house. Tonight on Sunday night, we are 3. Jeremey and Cameron both decided that this was the weekend. So I spent the entire weekend moving them and getting them comfy. Cameron's stuff is still hanging out of his doorway like his room got sick. Oh well, it's gonna be fun times from here on out. This means I really need to push Marcy to finish the basement if I ever want Ashley living with us. Lots of construction work for me.

Inter-webs!

I'd just like to point out that I have internet again! And I paid my tuition today, so that's cool. Not as cool for my parents, but I'll get a grade for attending class. Always nice. Had an interview with LASP yesterday, I thought I represented myself pretty well. Keep you posted.

Bang

Everything has just somehow set in place. I'm living in the house now, school is in full swing, and I'm back for my second drill weekend, sort of. I still don't have internet at the house, Comcast is coming in on Wednesday to install it. Other than that, should be an interesting semester. Data Structures should be at least mildly interesting, although Mr. McGrath already taught me a lot of the material in some form or another. That was almost 4 years ago! Physics seems to be nothing too hard. Calc 2 might be a problem though, because I don't remember hardly anything from Calc 1. Hopefully I can catch up here soon. Gotta get back to the books!

CU Orientation

Drill this last weekend was pretty standard. I met up with most of the people I remembered last time, and met a few new people. And I'm no longer in limbo; they've created a new Information Management section, so I have a place to be. Not really much of a specific job yet, but we'll keep working on it. Yesterday and today was spent at CU Orientation. I feel like I'm getting lots of stuff done at least. I now have a class schedule; I'll be taking Physics 1, Calculus 2 for Engineers, and Computer Science 2: Data Structures. I'm amazed at my schedule timing; all of my classes are out by noon, every day. Monday Wednesday Friday I have my lecture classes with 100+ people, and Tuesday Thursday are my 25-person recitations. I've seen advisors about switching from Open Option to Computer Science, and I may have to become an Applied Math major somewhere in between. We'll see. Ashley is moving me into her rental house, so I'm excited about that. I'm a litt...

Glenwood Springs

Ashley and I are back from our scandalous vacation in Glenwood. We had an excellent time for the most part. We checked in Monday afternoon, and spent a good deal of time in the hotel room that night. We ordered Chinese in, just to be as lazy as possible. Tuesday we went shopping in the small commercial area downtown. Ashley spotted a cute and wonderful-smelling Italian restaurant called Italian Underground, but Kristen told us it was where all the mafioso's lounged around. We saw a shop with hand-woven blankets and cloths, but what was really unique was that you could see the looming machines in use. Very cool. Wednesday, Ashley wasn't feeling very well in the morning, so I took care of her as much as I could. She felt well enough to do something by the afternoon, so we explored the Glenwood Caverns. They're not the most colorful caves I've been to, but the formations and the shapes of the caves were much more dramatic. We ended up taking a chance on Italian Underground...

New Year's Resolution

In the year 2006 I resolve to: Wear spandex every other day. Get your resolution here I was going to use "Forget my New Year's Resolution," but posting it here would defeat the purpose. Later!
